The Embassy of India in Japan shared that Mallick thanked the team for their contributions to commemorating the 75th anniversary of India-Japan diplomatic relations.
Mallick expressed her appreciation for the team's efforts in launching the commemorative events and wished them success for the upcoming Asian Games.
The Embassy also highlighted the team's exceptional efforts in kick-starting the India-Japan 75th anniversary celebrations and extended best wishes for their performance in Nagoya.
Meanwhile, the Indian men’s cricket team conducted an indoor net session ahead of their Asian Games campaign, with BCCI sharing a video of the players and head coach VVS Laxman.
India's women’s team successfully defended their title, defeating Sri Lanka by 147 runs under captain Harmanpreet Kaur.
