Australia A started strongly with Josh Philippe and Liam Scott scoring 82 runs in 15 overs, but they were dismissed at the same team score of 82.
A second wicket stand of 58 between Lachlan Shaw and Nathan McSweeney kept Australia in the hunt, but McSweeney's dismissal to Gurjapneet Singh ended their chase.
