30 Rock Reunion Celebrates Show's 20th Anniversary

Tina Fey brought together the 30 Rock cast for a 20th-anniversary event at Radio City Music Hall, featuring a mix of sketches, guest appearances, and a benefit for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The event was attended by fans and cast members alike, with no live streaming or recording allowed.

Fey, who had initially considered not holding a reunion, was encouraged by Jack McBrayer to organize the event. The show included a series of 30 Rock-themed sketches, such as Jenna singing a medley of her famous songs and McBrayer presiding over a game show with Fey and Tracy Morgan.

Guest stars like Conan O’Brien, Tom Hanks, Brian Williams, and John McEnroe made appearances, contributing to the night’s humor and nostalgia. Fey also made jokes about the show’s legacy and its relevance to current events, including references to political figures and social issues.

Several cast members expressed excitement about reuniting, with Kevin Brown, who played Dot-Com, attending a pre-show fan event. The reunion also honored late crew members and real-life Grizz Chapman, who had died earlier that year.

The event included a sketch where Alec Baldwin, as Jack Donaghy, made jokes about the 2024 election and political figures, including a reference to Donald Trump’s business failures. The night concluded with Lin-Manuel Miranda performing a duet with Tracy Morgan, drawing a strong audience reaction.
