Warhammer Day Features Terrifying Miniatures
Warhammer Day coincides with Halloween, highlighting various terrifying miniature figures.
The Brief
- Thousand Sons are corrupted Space Marines controlled by sorcerers.
- Blood Angels are stylish but cursed with a bloodlust and Black Rage.
- Necrons are undead automatons with an unrelenting desire to destroy life.
Saturday marks Warhammer Day, which also happens to be Halloween. The occasion is used to showcase some of the most terrifying miniatures in the Warhammer universe.
The Thousand Sons, once proud Space Marines, are now corrupted souls trapped in power armor, controlled by warp-fuelled sorcerers. Their war cry is the last sound a victim will hear before their demise.
Blood Angels, known for their style and bloodlust, are cursed with the Black Rage, a condition that has never been fully overcome. Mep, their Chief Librarian, crossed the Rubicon Primaris and seemingly left his curse behind, but the Blood Angels still crave the taste of blood.
Necrons are skeletal automatons with no organic matter, marching without fear or mercy. They are driven by a singular goal: to destroy all living creatures. Their weapons can flay flesh from victims, and one of their star gods is said to be the inspiration for the grim reaper.
The Nighthaunt are ethereal spirits that bring terror and drag down the souls of the living. Lady Olynder, Mortarch of Grief, embodies the misery of the restless undead, overwhelming mortals with a dread so intense it can silence even the strongest heart.
The Gloomspite Gitz, a chaotic group of creatures, include Squigs with sharp teeth and a terrible appetite. These vicious beings are feared across the Mortal Realms and can tear even the mightiest foes apart.
Space Wolves, part Space Marine and part wolf, are bestial warriors cursed by the gene-seed of the Wolf King. They are fast, fierce, and armed with claws, teeth, and deadly weapons, howling under the full moon.
