Call of Duty: Warzone Season 1 begins on November 6, introducing two new maps, a level reset, and new field gear. The season also integrates Modern Warfare 4 weapons into the game.
The new Battle Royale map, Hajin, is set on the Korean Peninsula, featuring 13 points of interest including Hajin City and Imjin Farmland. Weather conditions vary, and the map includes two Gulag variants for eliminated players.
Zodiac, a compact Resurgence map, is centered around a drone factory in South Korea with ten points of interest. The map includes underground tunnels and a double railway crossing, developed by Beenox and Infinity Ward.
New gameplay mechanics include the Zipline Launcher, which allows players to fire anchors and move across the map, and the Grabber Drone, which can lift loot and teammates. Weapon Augments and Elite Perks are also available during matches.
Player levels reset at launch, with optional Prest, shared across multiple game modes. All 33 Modern Warfare 4 launch weapons are available, each with unique camo options and progression systems.
Legacy weapons from Modern Warfare II through Black Ops 7 are available in a separate tab, but they lack customization options and cannot be edited in Gunsmith. Each legacy weapon comes with five attachments and unlocks through Player XP.
