Ravens, Cardinals Complete Jacoby Brissett Trade
Veteran quarterback traded to Baltimore as Cardinals start new era with Minshew.
The Brief
- Ravens and Cardinals finalized trade for Brissett.
- Brissett will join Ravens after being demoted by Cardinals.
- Ravens use rookie quarterback in place of injured starters.
The Ravens and Cardinals officially announced the trade of quarterback Jacoby Brissett to Baltimore on Friday morning.
The deal sends Brissett to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round pick, a 2028 seventh-round pick, and a 2027 fifth-round pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Brissett started every game for the Cardinals this season before being moved to the third-string role this week. Gardner Minshew is now the team's starter, with rookie Carson Beck as the backup.
The Ravens, without starting quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley on injured reserve, turned to undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano for Thursday night’s loss to the Jaguars.
Brissett will have over a week to familiarize himself with the team’s offense before facing the Chargers in Week 10.
