Ireland Weather: Rain Expected in Some Areas, Drier Conditions Elsewhere

Met Eireann has issued a forecast indicating varied weather conditions across Ireland over the next few days, with some areas experiencing rain while others remain drier.

Today, Sunday, October 11, will feature dry conditions in many parts, though cloud, rain, and mist are expected in other regions. The north, east, and midlands are likely to stay dry, while Munster, Connacht, and south Leinster may see rain and drizzle.

Tonight will be mild and humid, with patchy rain and drizzle continuing to move northeastward, becoming mostly confined to the northern and eastern areas by morning. Mist and fog patches are also expected, particularly in dense areas.

Tomorrow, Monday, October 12, will be predominantly cloudy with some rain and breezy conditions. Rain is expected to push up from the southwest, mainly affecting the western half of the country, while the north and east may see isolated drizzle and mist.

Tuesday, October 13, will bring sunny spells and scattered showers, with the heaviest rain expected in Ulster. Showers will become more isolated as the day progresses, and temperatures will range from 13 to 17 degrees Celsius.

Looking ahead, current forecasts suggest a high-pressure system will bring dry, bright, and settled weather for the remainder of the week and into the next weekend.
