- Morad cited working alone and personal reasons for his decision.
Mohamed Morad, the media coordinator for Egypt's senior national football team, has resigned from his position, ending a five-year tenure with the team's media staff.
Morad announced his decision through a statement on his official Facebook page, stating that he had made the choice after lengthy consideration.
His resignation comes at a critical time for Hossam Hassan, the current technical staff leader, whose future with the team is under review following recent personal disputes.
Morad expressed gratitude to officials and individuals who supported his role, including Ahmed Diab, Gam, Allam, and others on the board of directors.
He also directed his sharpest words to an unnamed official within the football association, referring to them as the 'marginalised person' in the organisation.
Morad highlighted his efforts to promote the national team's media presence, including work during major tournaments like the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup, which earned praise from FIFA.
