Dove Cameron Weds Damiano David in Italy

Dove Cameron and Damiano David married in Montalcino, Tuscany, on 24 September 2026. The ceremony took place at the town hall.

Photographs shared online show the couple with friends and family outside the venue, with Cameron holding a bouquet of white flowers.

Cameron and David first met at the 2022 MTV VMAs, but they did not start dating until a year later. They announced their engagement in January.

Cameron described her initial reaction to meeting David as negative, believing he didn't like her. She later learned he was in a difficult personal situation at the time.

She recounted her experience on the Call Her Daddy podcast, saying she thought he hated her and considered moving on. However, she later realized his behavior was due to personal struggles, not her.

Cameron and David reunited at the 2023 VMAs, where they began dating. She noted their connection was simple and innocent, with both being in better mental health at the time.

Cameron admitted to being celibate and depressed before their relationship, stating she would not have been ready to date earlier. She said she felt a dark period for a year before deciding to open up again.
