The agreement includes national and global campaigns, as well as custom promotions for Clark's signature footwear, apparel, and product lines. She will also participate in retail and digital experiences, fan events, and community programs.
Ed Stack, executive chairman at DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc., said the partnership offers a chance to 'build on the energy around basketball' and bring more fans to the game. He noted Clark's ability to connect with fans across multiple sports.
Clark, entering her third WNBA season, broke the all-time single-season points record with 891 points, surpassing Diana Taurasi's previous mark of 860. She also set the Indiana Fever's single-game scoring record with 45 points.
In addition to her scoring achievements, Clark became the first player in WNBA history to record 25-plus points and 15-plus assists in a playoff game. She also achieved the first-ever points/assists double-double in the first half of a playoff game.
Her success has contributed significantly to the WNBA's growth, alongside stars like A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, and Napheesa Collier. DICK'S praised Clark's impact on inspiring young athletes and her role in promoting sports as a means to build confidence and create opportunity.
