Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson returned to the game in the third quarter after being hospitalized for a chest injury. He left the field in the first half and was transported to a nearby hospital for precautionary tests.

Watson arrived back at Lambeau Field in an ambulance and entered the locker room to prepare for his return. He emerged onto the sideline with additional padding around his ribs and indicated the location of his injury when asked by teammates.

Watson stated that he spat up blood upon sustaining the injury, which prompted the Packers' medical staff to take him to the hospital. Tests ruled out internal bleeding, allowing him to return to the game.

Watson was in the midst of a strong performance when he left the game. He led all receivers in the first half with six catches for 100 yards, helping quarterback Jordan Love complete 17 of his first 20 passes.

Upon his return, the Packers attempted a pass in Watson's direction on his first play back. While he did not catch it, he added two receptions in the fourth quarter, including one that helped secure the game's outcome.

Matthew Golden stepped up as the No. 1 receiver in Watson's absence, catching a touchdown pass on the Packers' first possession. Tucker Kraft also contributed with a touchdown on the night.
