The Brief

  • Jacqueline Cavalcanti vs Michelle Montague rescheduled to UFC 335.
  • UFC Qatar’s only women’s fight is now set for an all-male lineup on November 21.
  • Cavalcanti and Montague both defeated Mayra Bueno Santos in recent wins.

The UFC has rescheduled a bantamweight matchup originally planned for late November to UFC 335, which is set for December 12. The fight between Jacqueline Cavalcanti and Michelle Montague was initially scheduled for UFC Qatar but has been moved to Las Vegas.

UFC Qatar’s event, now scheduled for November 21, will feature an all-male lineup. This marks a change from the original plan, which included the women’s fight as its only female matchup.

The reason for the delay remains unclear. The news was first reported by Luana Santos and later confirmed by Marcel Dorff on X. The event is part of the UFC’s schedule as it wraps up 2026 with its final numbered event of the year at the T-Mobile Arena.

Cavalcanti, a No. 6-ranked contender in the Meta UFC women’s bantamweight division, has won her first five UFC fights after joining the promotion following title success in LFA. She lost her first UFC fight inside the Octagon against Ketlen Vieira in May.

Montague, an 8-0 former PFL standout with two UFC wins via unanimous decision, has notched all her victories in the sport via rear-naked choke. She is looking to remain undefeated in her pro MMA career.

Both fighters previously defeated Mayra Bueno Santos in their most recent wins, adding context to their upcoming matchup at UFC 335.
