The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Year Two Update (Version 2.0.0) has been released, featuring the Godzilla Pack as the first paid DLC and Bayonetta as the first free character addition.
Duel Mode is now available, allowing players to compete in 1-on-1 showdowns with the Duel Boost mechanic. This mode supports both offline and online play.
The Super Slot, a 7th Gadget slot, enables players to customize their racing strategies further. It requires unlocking the Grand Master Plate by racing at least 40 times.
Festivals have been extended to 10 days, with rankings now based on win streaks rather than points. Rival AI teams can now appear in matches, offering bonus Festival Points for defeating them.
New content includes Play Missions, which offer Donpa Tickets and Duel Medals upon completion. The in-game Shop now allows players to exchange these rewards for various customization items.
Adjustments to the Gadget System include 15 new Gadgets, balance changes for Machine Types, and updated stats for existing Gadgets. These changes aim to improve competitive fairness and player experience.
