The Brief
- Riot police ended a chaotic Halloween party at a $10 million Sydney home.
- At least 200 people attended, including individuals who entered without invitation.
- Paramedics treated several intoxicated teenagers at the scene.
Riot police intervened at a Halloween house party on Eastbourne Avenue in Sydney’s east on Friday night after large crowds spilled onto the street.
Emergency services, including police and NSW Ambulance paramedics, were called to the scene around 8:50 pm following reports of an out-of-control event.
When officers arrived, the party was in full swing, with a large group of revelers exiting the property and onto the surrounding roadway.
Reports indicated at least 200 people attended the event, including gate crashers who entered the property by hopping the fence.
Paramedics set up on the street to assess intoxicated attendees, with several teenage girls found slumped on the grass.
A teenage girl received on-site treatment for intoxication before being transported to Prince of Wales Hospital for further evaluation.
Despite the scale of the emergency response and the presence of heavily intoxicated youths, NSW Police confirmed no arrests or property damage occurred.
Officers remained stationed outside the waterfront property until the crowds had dispersed.
