The New York Jets have acquired three first-round picks in the 2027 NFL Draft, all ranked within the top 12. These picks were obtained from the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts during the trade deadline.
The Jets received a 2027 first-round pick from the Cowboys in exchange for defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. The Colts sent two first-round picks, one in 2026 and one in 2027, to New York for cornerback Sauce Gardner.
The Jets' three picks in the 2027 draft are currently projected at No. 7, No. 10, and No. 12. The Colts' pick is at No. 7, the Jets' own at No. 10, and the Cowboys' at No. 12.
In the 2026 draft, the Jets used their three first-round selections to draft EDGE David Bailey, TE Kenyon Sadiq, and WR Omar Cooper Jr. Bailey, selected second overall, has recorded 35 tackles, seven tackles for loss, nine QB hits, 5.5 sacks, and forced three fumbles.
Sadiq, taken 16th overall, has caught 16 passes for 164 yards and one touchdown, and also scored on the ground. Cooper, selected 30th overall, has recorded 100 yards receiving and a touchdown in each of his last two games.
With three first-round picks in the 2027 draft, the Jets are positioned to add more young talent to their roster, potentially setting the stage for a significant turnaround.
