The Brief

  • Hearzap acquired Amplifon India's hearing healthcare business in August 2026.
  • The deal includes 240 hearing care points of sale, with 115 directly operated locations.
  • Hearzap aims to expand to 500 centres by 2027.

Hearzap has finalized its acquisition of Amplifon India's hearing healthcare business, according to official reports. The transaction was confirmed in August 2026, following a previously announced definitive agreement in May 2026.

The acquisition includes Amplifon India's 240 hearing care points of sale, with 115 locations directly operated by the company. The combined network now spans 420 centres across India, supported by over 1,000 service providers.

Hearzap, backed by investor 360 ONE Asset Management, plans to expand its network to 500 centres by 2027. The expansion focuses on improving access in both major cities and smaller Tier II and Tier III markets.

Existing Amplifon India clients will see their operations integrated over a 12-month period. Hearzap emphasized maintaining clinical services during the transition and retaining existing professionals within the combined organization.

The acquisition is intended to enhance accessibility for patients, particularly in areas where local support is currently limited. However, the announcement does not provide a full schedule of new centre openings, and individuals are advised to check local availability.
