Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks Game Tonight

The Detroit Pistons will face the New York Knicks in an NBA game tonight at Madison Square Garden. The matchup is scheduled for 8:00 PM ET and will be broadcast on NBC and streamed on Peacock.

The Pistons, who have won their first three games, are looking to extend their winning streak. They defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 106-93 on Sunday, with Cade Cunningham scoring 26 points and 8 rebounds.

The Knicks, however, are off to their worst start since the 2019-2020 season, losing their third game in a row to the Orlando Magic. They shot 38-for-93 from the field and 9-for-38 from three-point range in the loss.

Detroit's All-Star center, Jalen Duren, is expected to miss at least two weeks after suffering a right hamstring strain. He was re-signed to a 5-year, $200 million deal on October 2.

New York's Jalen Brunson acknowledged the team's struggles, stating they need to continue executing at a high level. He noted the team must accept the current phase of their journey and find ways to improve.

The game is part of Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, which returns to NBC and Peacock tonight. A second game, between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Lakers, will follow at 11:00 PM ET.
