Belichick and Hudson Relationship Status Unclear

The status of Bill Belichick's relationship with Jordon Hudson came under scrutiny on Friday, Oct. 30. Two individuals within the UNC football office claimed they were unaware of any issues between the coach and his girlfriend.

A TMZ report from Oct. 30 indicated Belichick and Hudson broke up over a year ago, despite making multiple appearances since the reported split. However, people close to Hudson stated they remain committed to their business partnerships and are still close friends.

Hudson has been noticeably absent from the Tar Heels news cycle this season, though she has appeared on the sidelines for several games, including matches against Notre Dame and East Tennessee State. She also attended a high school game with Belichick in late September.

Hudson last posted a photo of Belichick on Instagram with them holding hands at Churchill Downs on May 2. A source told TMZ that Hudson has started seeing other people.

The season has been marked by changes at UNC, including the resignation of general manager Michael Lombardi and Belichick's son, Steve, as defensive coordinator. The Tar Heels are currently 4-3 in Belichick's second season, following an 4-8 record in his first year.

Belichick and Hudson first met in 2021 on a flight, although that question is apparently a bit of a touchy one. They went public in 2024, though it's thought they were together in 2022 or 2023.
