A boat carrying 350 migrants from Djibouti to Yemen capsized near Obock on Thursday night, according to the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The IOM reported that 109 people, including 15 children, died in the incident, with dozens more still missing.
Of those recovered, 52 men, 42 women, nine girls, and six boys were identified, the IOM stated in a Friday statement.
Local authorities are arranging burials for the deceased, while survivors are receiving medical care at a response center in Obock.
The IOM noted that more than 20,000 movements from Ethiopia to Djibouti were recorded since 10 September, highlighting the scale of migration.
The agency is collaborating with local authorities to assist survivors and prevent future deaths at sea and on land.
