Unofficial early voting figures show 52,012 Staten Islanders cast ballots during the nine-day period ending Sunday, according to the New York City Board of Elections.
This total is 1,696 fewer than the 53,708 votes recorded in the 2025 election, with the final three days of early voting contributing 19,609 ballots.
Citywide, 690,526 New Yorkers participated in early voting, with Brooklyn leading at 219,536, followed by Manhattan at 188,434 and Queens at 162,914.
Staten Island’s early voting share of the citywide total was approximately 7.5%, with the Bronx recording 67,630 votes.
The borough’s current early voting turnout remains lower than the 91,858 votes cast in the 2024 presidential election, which typically sees higher participation.
The focus now turns to Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when Staten Islanders will vote for governor, Congress, the state Legislature, and other offices.
