Roseanne Barr calls ex-co-star Michael Fishman 'brainwashed bigot'

Roseanne Barr recently criticized her former co-star Michael Fishman, calling him a 'brainwashed bigot' during an appearance on the 'Can't Be Censored' podcast.

Fishman had previously criticized the 2018 reboot of the 'Roseanne' show, which Barr said was 'rightfully canceled.' She claimed he had not listened to her explanations over the years.

The reboot was canceled just two months after its premiere in March 2018, following Barr's controversial tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a former advisor to former President Obama.

Barr apologized for the tweet multiple times, but ABC decided to fire her and cancel the show. A month later, the network launched a new spin-off called 'The Connors,' featuring most of the original cast without Barr.

Barr stated that Fishman had repeatedly asked her about her comments before she told him to 'go and f--- yourself and stay f---ed 'till the day you die.' She accused him of having no understanding of geopolitical context.

Laurie Metcalf, who played Barr's sister on the show, confirmed that the two had not spoken since the reboot ended. Barr also said she had not kept in touch with any of her former co-stars.
