The northeast monsoon, known locally as Amihan, is expected to bring rains over three areas in Luzon, according to PAGASA.

PAGASA stated that no significant impact is expected in the affected areas.

PAGASA also noted that 16 areas are projected to experience danger-level heat index on Monday, with temperatures reaching up to 43 degrees Celsius.

Separately, PAGASA is monitoring severe tropical storm In-Fa, which was located 1,870 kilometers east of Extreme Northern Luzon as of 3:00 a.m.

Weather specialist Veronica C. Torres said the storm is not expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility or directly affect any parts of the country.
