President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited the grave of his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., at the Libingan ng mga Bayani cemetery in Taguig City on All Saints' Day.

During the visit, Marcos was accompanied by his mother, former first lady Imelda Marcos.

Marcos also sent flowers to the graves of former Sen. Benigno 'Ninoy' Aquino Jr. and former presidents Corazon 'Cory' Aquino and Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.

Ninoy Aquino Jr. was a leading opposition figure during the rule of Marcos Sr., and his assassination in 1983 helped galvanize opposition to the Marcos government.

Marcos Sr. was ousted during the 1986 People Power Revolution, which brought Ninoy's widow, Corazon 'Cory' Aquino, to the presidency.

The visit and floral offerings took place as Filipinos observed All Saints' Day, a holiday when families traditionally visit cemeteries to honor deceased loved ones.
