  • Suspect claimed to hear voices instructing him to kill Trump.

US Secret Service officials confirmed the arrest of a man found in a vehicle near the White House with multiple firearms. The suspect, identified as Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos, was taken into custody after officers approached him due to suspicious behavior.

According to Homeland Security, Chrinos told officers he heard voices in his head telling him to come to the nation’s capital and kill Donald Trump. The incident occurred on Thursday night, following a routine check of the vehicle.

Upon inspection, authorities discovered the suspect’s car had been reported stolen, and he was found in possession of three firearms and numerous rounds of ammunition. Officials noted this is part of a broader pattern of arrests involving individuals who have threatened Trump or his family.

Chrinos, an immigrant from Venezuela, is in the country illegally after entering through Texas in March 2024. He has been charged and is currently in the custody of the US Marshals Service. The White House declined to comment, directing inquiries to DHS and the Secret Service.
