The Brief
- Coach Gonzalo Quesada made 10 changes due to injuries.

- Italy lost all three Nations Championship matches in July.
Italy's head coach, Gonzalo Quesada, named a reshuffled squad for Saturday's Nations Championship match against South Africa in Turin, citing a long list of injury-related absences.
The team's captain, Michele Lamaro, along with centres Tommaso Menoncello and Juan Ignacio Brex, and forwards Sebastian Negri and Louis Lynagh, are all sidelined due to injuries since their last match against Australia in July.
Samuele Locatelli, a 25-year-old flanker, is set to make his debut in the back row after participating in the Six Nations training camp without making an appearance.
Mirko Belloni has been selected as fullback, with Ange Capuozzo on the wing. Ross Vintcent drops to the bench and is replaced by Lorenzo Cannone, whose brother Niccolo is included in the second row.
Giacomo Nicotera will captain the team in the absence of Lamaro. Italy lost all three Nations Championship matches in July.
The team will face host Argentina in Genoa on November 14 and Fiji in Udine one week later.
