The Brief
- Bitdeer AI signed an 8-year data center services agreement for the A103 facility.
- A103 is designed for NVIDIA Vera Rubin systems and is expected to be energized in Q1 2028.
- The Cyberjaya campus will have approximately 71.5MW of AI Cloud data center capacity.
Bitdeer AI, a subsidiary of Bitdeer Technologies Group, announced it has entered into an 8-year data center services agreement for the A103 facility, a 60MW AI Cloud data center located on the Cyberjaya campus in Malaysia.
The A103 facility is designed for liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA systems, including the next-generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform. Energization of the facility is expected in the first quarter of 2028.
The Cyberjaya campus, which already hosts A101 and A102 facilities, will have a combined AI Cloud data center capacity of approximately 71.5MW after the addition of A103.
With the new facility, Bitdeer AI’s secured AI Cloud data center capacity across Malaysia, Norway, and the United States totals approximately 333.5MW, representing about 95% of its target of up to 350MW by Q1 2028.
Bitdeer AI’s active pipeline for AI Cloud capacity is estimated to exceed $10 billion, with strong demand for uncontracted capacity across its sites.
Michael G. Potter, Chief Financial Officer of Bitdeer Technologies Group, stated that the A103 facility brings Bitdeer AI closer to its 350MW target and allows the company to leverage existing infrastructure for faster deployment.
