Chemist Warehouse, a major Australian pharmacy chain, has opened its first store in the UK, located in Harrow. The brand is known for its extensive product range and competitive pricing in Australia.
The store has generated a range of public reactions, with some customers expressing concern over its intense shopping environment. Comments on social media have highlighted both excitement and apprehension about the new experience.
Despite the mixed feedback, some UK residents have expressed support for the store's potential expansion, with calls for additional locations in the north of the country. Others have wished the venture success and speculated about future developments.
Sigma Healthcare announced in May that it had struck a deal to bring Chemist Warehouse to 22 locations in the UK, and that it would buy into Greenlight Healthcare sites, according to Financial Review.
